Pioneer's Sound Retriever technology improves the sound quality of compressed audio (such as WMA, MP3, and MPEG-4 AAC), by creating new signals to restore the minute details lost during the compression process. The Advanced Sound retriever has further evolved to reproduce CD quality sound of up to 20 kHz.
By connecting the SC-LX90 with Pioneer KURO plasma display panel via HDMI, the HDMI Control function enables you to operate the basic functions such as input selection and power on/off through the plasma display panel's remote control.
With the Multi-Zone function, you can play three different sources in three separate zones. The SC-LX90 has a dedicated A/D converter for zone 2, which lets you convert analogue signals to digital output for more flexible settings.
