Deep Colour
Deep Colour
These Blu-ray Disc players support high-bit Deep Colour, offering images with superbly detailed, natural colour expression. The BDP-LX52 and BDP-320 feature the highest 48-bit colour depth (except 1080/50p and 1080/60p output), while the BDP-120 provides 36-bit colour depth, ensuring natural and smooth colour gradations.
Motion Adaptive IP Conversion (BDP-LX52/320)
These players can convert 1080/60i high-definition sources for 1080/60p display. Their Motion Adaptive IP Conversion technology carries out optimum moving image processing, delivering clear, sharp pictures with reduced image noise. Motion Adaptive IP Conversion (BDP-LX52/320)
Triple High-Definition Noise Reductions (BDP-LX52/320)
These players have three separate noise reduction circuits for enhanced video performance. Component Frame Noise Reduction (YNR/CNR) reduces Gaussian noise without blurring the picture. Block Noise Reduction reduces the block noise in moving images. Mosquito Noise Reduction reduces random noise along the outline of the images. In addition, Pioneer's advanced PureCinema Deinterlacer also helps to remove annoying lines during playback. Triple High-Definition Noise Reductions (BDP-LX52/320)
Video Adjust Modes (BDP-LX52/320)
Video Adjust Modes (BDP-LX52/320)
Plasma TVs, LCD TVs, and projectors each have different picture quality characteristics, so Pioneer offers five Video Adjust modes. In addition to Pioneer PDP, which is optimised for Pioneer's KURO plasma TV, there are PDP, LCD, Projector and Professional, optimised by our engineers to best match the type of display. Just set the mode and you're ensured of the best possible picture quality.
x.v.colour
All three players support x.v.Colour, an advanced feature that greatly broadens the available colour space to support 1.8 times as many colours as standard RGB signals, for much more accurate, natural-looking colours. x.v.colour
Various video parameters
Picture quality can be fine-tuned by adjusting 13 different parameters, including noise reduction, luminance and color. Three of these settings can be stored in memory, allowing you to always enjoy the type of picture you prefer.
